Dravit Grey M340i xDrive Touring
Hi all,
few days ago I picked up my new car, my first car with brand of bmw. It is Touring (the first one here?) , IIRC - not available in U.S. at this moment. Combination dravit grey + vernasca oyster sounds great for me. It is not common combination, as well as Live Cockpit Plus feature. I do not like pure digital version due to strange conception. After few days I can scream: It is great car with best sound of 6-cyl engine! Last edited by Hotentot; 03-27-2020 at 05:23 AM.. |

Looks awesome! Congrats!! I have a Dravit Grey M340i. The color is amazing and looks great on the touring! Wonder why they did do the digital dash?

Congrats, looks amazing in Touring guise
Have you had the chance to test drive one with adaptive suspension and 19" RFT to compare with the 18"? I've been reading a few critiques of the ride quality as a daily driver even in Comfort mode |

I can compare it only in sedan version (touring was not available yet for testing). In my own experience there is a significant difference only in sport plus mode - benefits adaptive suspension undoubtedly. Compared 19 RFT adaptive, vs. 18 non RFT, I prefer the second choice in case of comfort mode. RFT kills the advantage of adaptive feature. Therefore I chose 18 non RFT, most of the time we use it as a family car... |

Congrats! Never seen that gauge cluster before, was it a special request? Not an option here!
Adaptive and 19"s standard on UK M340i. Have to say I don't find the ride hard at all in any setting - it's firm but no more than past sporty BMWs and is a refined cruiser in Comfort. It is nowhere near as hard as an M4 Comp or M2 Comp. I've heard the Touring is also sliiiightly more softly sprung at the front than the saloon, due to the extra weight out back but don't know how noticeable that is. Having driven both, felt similar to me. |

For Touring version there is adaptive suspension coupled with RFT19 as the only option. As the best solution It could be combination adaptive suspension with non RFT18, but not possible for Touring... |

Just did a quick M340i Touring config and you're right, adaptive suspension seems to only be available with 19" wheels. Wondering how much better the ride is with the summer performance staggered non-RFT 19" vs the square set RFT 19". Fuel consumption does take a tiny hit according to the configurator, not sure about the handling, again no cars to test in my area
