Spotify on BMW no fastforward?

It's not a realy big deal but I was wondering if there is a fastforward function in Spotify when used in the BMW.
I can't seem to find how to fastforward in Spotify.

I am not able to fast-forward either with Spotify. I'm using an Android phone. Hopefully functionality might be added once Android Auto is available on the G20's or with future updates perhaps.

Not sure if iPhone users have the same issue but would be good to know if it is an Android issue only.

I use an iPhone, so it's not Android related.

I use the BMW spotify app straight over vehicle wifi hotspot (no phone involved), as it generally works better than Carplay. No fast forward.

Know this is not exactly what you are looking for, but if you hard press the skip forward or skip back button on the steering wheel, the song will advance or rewind about 15 seconds.
