The BimmerCode beta fixes the BDC not showing up. Send a request for the beta in the app.

I tried multiple times with both the enet cable and with the Vgate. I ended up giving up.

I have the beta on my XR. But since I can't connect the XR I was trying to use my outdated iPad.

I have the beta on my XR. But since I can't connect the XR I was trying to use my outdated iPad.

Make sure you are not connected to Bluetooth when you connect your network adapter to your phone. It only allows 1 accessory at a time. I'm just taking a swing though as I'd imagine you are in airplane mode. Does your network adapter show up in setting?

Yea I was in airplane mode and made sure bluetooth is off. Both the enet cable and adapter do show up on the phone. I also have Carly app with the Carly Wifi adapter that I used on my e90, e82, and R series MINIs which wouldn't connect either. Would come up with connection error. I know I know do not use Carly on a G20. I say that because of the threads I've read on here and bimmerforums. I was just testing to see if it would even work. This morning I noticed my XR didn't charge over night so I went to plug it in on the charging base I have at work. It would not sit on the base. So that got me thinking last week I accidently broke the RJ45 cable to lightning adapter in my phone. Which I was able to remove the broken plug. Maybe it damaged to phone. But I have the original lightning plugged into it which is charging the phone currently.

I'm think it is phone related at this point. But I need to find someone around here with an iphone that has bimmercode to test out my theory.

Go into expert mode then DKOMBI then search in the search bar and change these 3 options to AKTIV it will work right away.

Don't forget to turn the option on once coding is done.
Go into the display and cockpit and change the view on the cockpit from map to assisted driving view.

I the cluster changes, when selecting the M cluster, does this change it to the M340i digital cluster? I'm confused - I don't have the app yet and don't want to spend the money for the adapter or app if I can't get what I really want. Thanks in advance for your support.

I was finally about to connect with the enet cable and lightning adapter using my XR. Took forever to connect to the car. Update, Stephan sent me a test flight beta so I can get into the BDC works great!
