Managed to get a deal on the incoming G26 GC 430i M sport. MSRP 51,920$. Car comes with H&K stereo and Driver Assist Pro at no charge. Is this standard equipment now? I do not see it in the configurator on their main website unless you are ordering 440i but even then those two packages are 875$ and 1700$ respectively. Touchscreen function has been deactivated.
With Penfed rebate of 2500$, I am getting it for 52K out the door with all fees and taxes. I am in SF Bay Area with 9.5% tax rate. Two questions. 1) How did I do as far as price? I think it is an amazing deal, but wanted to see what community thinks. I have not purchased a new car in a while and market conditions are now very different than a year ago. 2) Why are those packages free? Is there a catch? I have a deal in writing, car is reserved under my name. Will I get a surprise when it shows up at the dealer? |

Sounds like a good deal in the SF Bay Area. 6 % off MSRP was not very difficult to get several months ago - but I think the dealers have become tighter with deals. I managed a 10% off MSRP on an ordered M440i in Sept.
What is a Penfed rebate? |

It is the Domestic Military incentive. One of the ways to qualify for it is to be a PenFed member for more than 60 days.

Put in an order this past week for a 330e with a MSRP of $49,760. Ended up with a healthy combination of discounts:
$2,800 dealer discount (5.6%) $1K loyalty $1.5K financing $2.5K CO state EV instant rebate And got them to give me the 0.99% APR Thanks to moodyhank82 for linking me up with his SA who provided the solid dealer discount. Only 1 other dealer in the Denver area was willing to give any dealer discount. |

I have a deal lined up to pick up a loaded M340i tomorrow but I'm seriously considering backing out.
Sticker is $67,055. I don't have the specific breakdown but I believe it's: $1k loyalty $1k Thanksgiving test drive promo $2064 dealer discount 0.9% APR It's a solid deal and the M340i xDrive has Adaptive M Suspension and the parking package (free). Only deletes are the digital key and passenger lumbar. I've had a couple weeks to get sober about insurance rates since I have to add a pair of 16 year olds to my policies soon. I'll be paying $340/month in insurance and taxes just for this one vehicle, which seems dumb (we need 4 vehicles). I was supposed to travel today to take delivery tomorrow and everything is fucking frozen and snowed. Add to it that we've had COVID in the home since 12/24 and are just coming out of it. It feels like the universe is telling me to take a L on the deposit and drive the E46.

Has anybody noticed the M340i (rwd/xd) has started getting worse discounts than it's bigger brother M440i? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the 3 always lease better than the 4 historically?
2-4% discount off MSRP on m340i 6% discount off MSRP on m440i I found this to be strange tbh. Does anybody have an explanation or theory?

So you think it's a matter of which is more desirable? The more desirable the less discounts.

At the end of the day though, what I've seen is that even if the discount off MSRP for a 440 is higher, the monthly payment for the 340 is still a good bit lower. |

Dealer local to me has (48) 330i on their lot, but is only offering $500 off MSRP....I’m asking for 5-6% off, am I dreaming to expect to get that?

You can get that thru a broker but may be difficult for you to get a local dealer to match. Are you sure they have that many on the lot and they are not displaying in transit? Are they part of a large dealership group and showing cars from multiple locations? My local dealers probably don't have 48 new cars in total on the lot let alone 330's.

They emailed back that yes this is their inventory but it’s all they have for the next 3 months.
Still negotiating....new offer is 3% off MSRP, $1k purchase credit

I have received quotes from 3 dealers on building an M340i xDrive. Every single one has quoted MSRP PLUS an additional $2k to $2.5k for “market adjustment”.
Has anyone been able to order one recently under MSRP? |
