30k maintenance for m340i?? Also any good SoCal shops for general maintenance ??

I am at 29400 miles. Today was hers 3rd birthday. Just got the 3rd free last oil change etc.
They called me for 3 recommended out of pocket service items
• Fuel service
• differential service
• alignment
I never done alignment so I may need that considering I am at 30k miles ? What are fuel and differential services ? Online info is mixed with these some say important to do differential service every 20k miles some say 40k miles. But I am a bit confused for these
Also are you guys taking them to dealers or any good reputable
BMW shops in the SoCal ?

Great question, I'd recommend Bullet Performance in Costa Mesa. Great independent shop, with a laundry list of stellar reviews. I trust them.

You can never go wrong with EAS (European Auto Source) in Anaheim. In regards to the dealers recommended service, I am not sure on how often the fuel service should be done, however, I would rather be proactive rather than reactive. Get a few quotes from dealer and indy shops. Ask EAS if they recommend the fuel service @30k miles. I am doing differential and transmission service at my indy shop once I hit 40k miles within the next 1-2 months.

I would recommend diffirential services. As the second owner, I don't know if differential services were performed on my 330 at 20k. My 330 is at 29,365 and the differential failed a few days ago, BWM installed a new one under warranty.
