While their purpose and methodology for doing so are largely the same they are pretty different devices in terms of customizabilty. If you plan on doing e85, meth, or any number of custom tuning modifications, or simply like to tinker, then the JB4 is the route you should go down as it allows some versatility in those arenas. If you are a set it and forget it type and are running otherwise stock or just have basic bolt ons and run regular pump fuel its a matter of preference.
