Upcoming 2023 BMW i7 / 7 Series (G70) Rendered

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hi guys,

I made a rendering of the upcoming 7 series based on the latest spyshots. Although the car is still heavily camouflaged the main contours of the car are already visible. The car will most likely share the divided headlight design with the new X8 and adopt design features from the iNext. What do you think of the design? Is this what the new flagship from BMW will look like?

For more follow me on IG: https://www.instagram.com/bmw43__/

Cheers!

I don’t get needing a grill for electric cars... no engine cooling and causes aerodynamic drag. Even if the grills have a false backing behind the grills.

Your renders, to me, have a good grill to front bumper vertical height ratio.

So after years of the Koreans copying the Germans, the Germans are now copying the Koreans with the split headlights...

Because the good designers have left BMW for the Korean brands

And BMW is left with fools like Domagoj Dukec

You mean the first 2 that are accurate and the rest which are a meme that we have all seen 1,000 x? You certainly get no points for creativity.

What the actual fuck is going on at bmw? It's like they have an ai designing their cars and it's just looking at every single luxury brand and combined them.

They can't even get driving dynamics down anymore. They made the 3 series pretty good and then ruined the drive of the 4 series. They really need a good employee purging.

Why would the kidneys be split in two? I see it in the photo but it really messes with the design. I feel a little Rolls Royce in the headlight which may help with sales. I like it a litttllle bit. They need to do something to make this into a BMW luxury icon, not just a bigger 5 series. Take a big swing at it BMW.

They're (bimmer) sticking the radar/lidar/sensors behind them.

Kia's designs are seemingly beginning to eclipse BMWs. I'm hopeful in a generation they can match the performance (electric, no doubt). I just can't with the current BMW styling direction and if Kia makes an equally performing sedan with better looks....

There is a part of me that would love to see the Germans not so complacent and reliant on their reputations from days long past and return to the driving experience. It's telling to see the mindless, drooling "fan" responses when BMW posts an M badged FWD shit box with the looks of a Camry just because they slapped a roundel on it.

I think our eyes are so used to seeing a grille it's difficult to come up with an attractive design without one.
