M340i Maxton rear diffuser
Looking at diffuser options and came across this company. Its probably the nicest looking diffuser I've seen -
https://www.maxtondesign.co.uk/body-...-m340i-g20-g21 Anyone got one of these fitted, or any general feedback on Maxton quality? |

When I had a Golf R, Maxton was very popular with owners.

Nice. Personally I went with the F1 style diffuser, like the attached. Fitted well and looks quite aggressive.

Thanks, a little too aggressive for me though. Just a pity the standard one is a bit boring, and MP one not much better IMO. The Maxton one is definitely the best I've seen, and a bonus its reasonably priced too.

I received mine last week and hope to put it on this weekend (same as the original post pic). Will do some before and after shots.
I've also got the rear spoiler (M340 touring) but that was original BMW. Last edited by Jimbon1973; 01-10-2023 at 03:32 AM.. |

I'm not really an "aftermarket" guy, but that Maxton looks pretty smart to me actually!

Hi guys, so sorry but the weekend was too busy for me to even try.
To be honest, the diffuser kind of looks like it'll be a 10 min job (i always think that) so may try tomorrow during day- I'll 100% add some pics on here. Just in the box it looks great. |

I had a Maxton diffuser on a previous car (SEAT Leon ST). It was a very well made item and looked great. Would recommend.

haha no worries! A couple of during photos would come in handy too if thats ok, just to see where all the clips etc are, or if theres anything to watch out for. I've not ordered yet but even if I did I'd likely wait a few weeks to fit. Its struggling to get above freezing up here today and I'm always mindful of the potential for clips to break when they get more brittle in the cold. Could always get the hair dryer out I suppose!

Tried putting it on today, but realised that there's no gap for the tow hook
As per pic above, looks like I need to remove the bottom 3rd of my tow hook cover for it to fit. Will have to check as I attempted in a bit of a rush! |
