2021 M340i xDrive - New to BMW!

Hi all. New to BMW - will be picking up this week an M340i. Coming from an '18 Focus RS.

Previously have owned Fords, Mazda's, Toyota, Honda's, and Lexus. Started test driving BMWs again lately and just...couldn't not buy it. Excited.

Me too I'm coming from only owning Japanese cars due to the fear from reading that German cars are time bombs that have extremely high maintenance.

I had Japanese car for the last 20 years and this is also my first German car 2021BMW M340 getting it in a couple weeks order it in October. Have not test drive the M340 coming out of Infiniti Q50 Red Sport. I will miss the Q50RS. Hopefully BMW is as good and reliable as Q50RS

I'm also coming out a Red Sport Q50. I had some issues with mine. It threw the serpentine belt and my rear diff was leaking. Other than that it was pretty reliable.

I didn't even test drive an m340 in fact the first time I ever sat in one was when I got mine a couple weeks ago. I watched every M340i video on YouTube. Even the ones in Korean and Russian lol. The car looks even better in person and the Quality blows the Infiniti Away. I did enjoy my Red Sport

I can't wait to have mine M340. Q50RS is great car I am also little concerned about being roomy and comfort with BMW M340.

Funny story, M340i is practically a midsize car, if that's not roomy enough for you then perhaps you need a 7 series. There's no way the Q50 is more roomy and yes, quite faster too and should be no less comfortable as well.

Don't worry it's comfortable and has plenty of room . It feels bigger inside than the Q

Congrats, you will love the solid feel of these cars. I am still driving my 2011 328xi with 186,000 miles on her which still rides and runs like new. I treated my wife to a loaded 2020 X5 and the first 8000 miles have been perfect. I love the new 3 and 4 and am torn between which one to get. My issue is I still love driving my 328, but I see tickets with a 340 in my future!

Yes! Loving it.

Just had windows tinted as well. Haven't taken any really good shots yet but here's a quick one.
