Yes ordered 29th Jan, held due to Covid-19, delivered to the dealer 31st July, held for 70 plate by the lease company, then held for the recall and now hopefully arriving to me on Monday afternoon. I’m sure it’s worth the wait based on my long distance 3 day test drive.

I just ordered a 330e xDrive Touring last week. Dealer reckons it'll be Jan or Feb. If it turns out to be Feb I'll ask that the registration is hold over until March so that I get the new plate.
BTW, I went for 330e xDrive M Sport Pro Edition Touring, Tanzanite Blue II, Black Merino Leather, Comfort Plus Pack and Technology Plus Pack - I like my toys! Now to sell my 530D... |

Dealer got back to me, expected delivery confirmed week of 26th. (Assuming we don't go into lockdown before) my spec: Sportline, mineral grey, changed rims to the 781 type (prefer those) business plus package, m-sport steering wheel, heated steering and seats, dark rooflining, active cruise control, matt dark wood.. While it's waiting for its plates it will also get a pro-tech ceramic coating. Can't wait ...

Looks like there will be another recall: https://www.electrive.com/2020/10/13...e-phev-models/
The article says that it's country specific and not necessarily all models are affected. I'm expecting a 330e Touring in week 44, I hope it stays that way. Going to contact the dealer tomorrow. (NL article: https://automotive-online.nl/managem...ug-in-hybrides ) |

Hoping my car is safe & not impacted: not a touring and produced after 18sept so reading these articles doesn't seem to be part of the batch. No message from the dealer also so no news hopefully good news.

Mine is waiting for transport, no mention of any delays. Still expected to arrive at the dealership next week. Dealership will let me know when the car arrives by train in Genk, from that point they can offer me a specific delivery date.

Mine is in Genk at the moment awaiting registration and transport to the dealer. Dealer said that it was also not impacted by the delivery stop (for now). So fingers crossed!

Gutted my car was due yesterday but the dealer didn’t bother telling the delivery company it was cancelled. Ordered in November 2019, due June 8th, delayed to October 14th. Now no idea when I will get it!!

Compared with my old E91 320D, this thing is a space ship. Sounds like one too in electric drive The leap in technology in only ten years is unbelievable. Haven't had time to test it on the motorway, but spent some time yesterday pairing the phone, the keys, the app, the card, the watch, the charger, the kids and what not... M sport seats are terrific, more adjustability than in the E91. This car is silent, comfortable and way more powerful, shoots out of the parking lot even in pure electric drive, rides bumps much better with adaptive suspension. Steering is completely different than the hard-ish hydraulic system in the E91, needs getting used to, but already more comfortable. Tried the driving assistant briefly, works great, but learning all the buttons and features will take some time. Boot size is OK actually, and interior finish is impeccable. At some point I'll try the petrol engine as well, haven't needed it so far. Here are a couple pics. I am really happy with the color combination

Mine has arrived! Being impatient as I was, I went to take a look before the handover. Really happy with the config! Can't wait to take it for a drive.
Didn't know the electric trunk was standard lol, that was a nice surprise! |

Good to see deliveries are going ahead. Checked with the dealer and he confirmed despite lockdown deliveries will go ahead though frustrating thing is he can't share a date other than asap. Mine was supposed to arrive last week, mid June order, & not impacted by phev issues. Dont really understand why they can't give a proper date to be honest, even of it's next week or later than at least you have something to aim for. Delay is supposed to be caused by transport but it's already sitting somewhere in Belgium ( genk likely) it's a real shame communication is so bad because really looking forward to the car itself naturally.

Looks really good. What wheels is that? Is it the "781"? And the color is mineral grey, right?

correct, 781 18 inch wheels. you don't see them very often and as due to company policy I'm not allowed to take an M-sport these are great ( to be honest, personally like them also over the M-package wheels)
I haven't regretted a single moment getting mineral grey, the car has a ceramic coating so maintenance is easy and it looks very classy to me. great car, enjoying it very much. |
