Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the phone after charging on the wireless charging base in the car (specifically G20 330e for me), it gets super hot and i mean worryingly hot
Is that normal? Any one else's do the same?

Wireless charging is highly inefficient in it's nature so energy not transferred to the phone is lost as heat. In your home you can at least ventilate the area but in that small cubby with a lid it's not the sharpest idea BMW had without providing some sort of cooling! Mine gets very hot too. Sometimes I use the cable especially on a longer journey and leave it in the arm rest. For short runs I use the charging pad so I can grab the phone as I exit.
