Please forgive me but I am very new to this site.
I got the link to download ISTA+ from a member tonight and have been searching but cannot find a definitive answer about what is needed to connect the laptop to the X5...any suggestions?

Then I ran across this post...

Is the app that you are using on the Iphone capable of diagnosing/fixing issues? I'm learning that everything needs to be coded on these cars. Not ever having one before, Im use to the "fault"/ CEI disappearing when a fault is fixed but I am learning that is not the case here.

Thanks for reading and for any suggestions on equipment that I should get.
