And you see om the picture of 71,8km there is No ice consumtion, just electric consumtion. When ice kicks in, the electric consumtion stops showing for the hole journey

I’d be doing well to get half that. My battery must be faulty.

The only way you would know that is if you drove your car on the same roads at the same time. Comparing your car with other people's when you're not even in the same country let alone on the same roads is like comparing apples with oranges.

That’s very true. But still, such a huge difference is odd - especially when you consider that Sweden is probably even colder than here!

I've had trips where the battery lasted over 60km and others where not even half of that. I don't see it odd at all

Hi all, quick question on exhaust notes...

On the Msport demo car I had the exhaust note was pretty nice, even when in standard (non-sport mode). Do you know if this is something specific to the Msports, or do they all sound like this? The video in the link below shows a Sport model (I think) and it sounds the same as my test drive model. I've ordered an SE so I hope it's the same with that...

Electric range

Hi ,
54.8km on my daily commute .
I’ve did the first 1000km with only 2.8 liter / 100kM and used the sportmode couple of times .

Hi, how did the electric range change with hotter summer days? (if it is the case for you)

I've consistently did 55Km on a charge on mild winter/spring weather, but I'ts been about 45km estimated and done over the last 2 weeks. I guess the A/C is using a bit more, still 20% drop in range seems excessive

hi the range on the screen ranges from 18 to 30 miles depending on the weather on my car. Driving on a long journey very carefully i can get 40 miles but around town its more like 20-25. Local terrain makes a difference.

Yeah I know, I just found it odd to lose 20%+ of range doing the same trip on hotter weather. I guess the AC doing more work and losing efficiency due to heat results in this. One more reason for me to hate hot temperatures -.-

Drove a bit over 70km fully electric actually averaging ~90kmh. It was a highway drive +- 100kmh zone, sometimes going a bit over 100 sometimes slower due to some traffic. Very satisfying result.

I've been regularly getting 32-33 miles on Electric Individual mode across the summer months - expecting this to drop back to 28-29 in the winter months coming up though.

I'm only starting to read this post/thread however I think that statement is not correct. The 320i, 330i and 330e all share dthe same Petrol 2.0 4 Cyl B48 Engine

I have actually discovered that you can get High Beam Assist with the standard Adaptive LED lights....

When your order you have to tick HBA Preparation and then pay £160 on the Connected Drive Shop to enable it.... that's what I've done

Not quite - the 330e comes with 2 engines nowadays:

https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1690599

The 'A' version is a 320i and 'B' a detuned 330i, so both have the same power, but the 'B' version can handle more HP:

This mean that 307 miles that i had to pay for fuel.
At 50mpg which seems easily doable on these long trips then thats 6.14 gallons at £5.60/gallon or £34.38. Add the £1.86 to it and i have paid a total of £36.24 and i am getting paid £67.20. Pretty good really.
if it were 40mpg it would be costing me £44.81 and id still get the £67.20

No brainer this way really and the more you charge the more you earn.
Hi Drifty, sorry to drag up an old thread but I've now got my 330e and found this comment of yours interesting. Do you mean to say that you pay for your fuel yourself, i.e via your own credit card as opposed to a company fuel card?

And then you fill out some sort of spreadsheet which lays out the business vs private miles and claim back the business miles at 14ppm?

And another general question... I don't have a wall box at home. How long would a full charge via granny cable take from a depleted battery?

hi guys, i have been thinking of buying either a 2018 330e or a 530e, cos i largely do short distances, but enjoy a car looking and behaving like a, erm, car.

the thing is, i wanted to find out the differences between the 2017/18 models and the newer ones, which you guys seem to have. you can pick up a decent M Sport these days for about £13-14k.

The thing that intrigues me more about the latest version is the "Xtraboost" which takes the bhp to nearly 300, does the older version have this too? or is it just the new car? also, is the virtual cockpit an extra? looks spookily like the Audi one!

If you used a fuel card on a Hybrid vehicle, there is no way to split out the electric miles, so your company would benefit all that at zero cost to them?

I had F30 330e from July 2016 to September 2020 and now G20 330e. Filling up is paid for using my company credit card, and claimed back at the engine size rate ppm.

For charging with the house mains socket from zero to 100% approx 29 miles this time of year in UK takes 5.5hrs at 10amps, or 6hrs at 6amps.

Nope, Xtraboost is only on G20 but if only doing short trips probably not much use to you
