Yeah, saw it so many times and it starts to look better

Anyway, black seams to hide the grill better then any other color.
I think that was the exact reasoning behind the release of these renders: to pre-shock the enthusiast core before the official release. It works too!
Exactly, I will probably get one sense I had every generation.

I won't to see this bad boy perform, and I want to dominate the competition‼️

This car better dominate in terms of performance. It better be otherworldly in relation to the F8X in the same way that the F8X was otherworldly in relation to the E9X. It better make the F8X feel slow by comparison, AND win every comparo against the competition. BMW needs to pull the Trix rabbit out of the hat on this one if we're to stomach that front end. The seats are promising I must admit.

Oh man, here we go again with the same old comments. Can't wait for the official release finally (resp. the new 4 series).

Besides that where the hell would you put the huge US plates?

The last picture with chrome makes you really stare at it. Lol
Agree with US plates, there is absolutely no room for it. Literally they are huge and would completely mess the look.
Wondering what size the grill is?
No way I'd ever rock a front plate regardless.
Me either. All front plate citations given to Bimmerpost's California residents will personally be signed off by me. That's the least that I can do for you guys because a U.S. front plate will further bastardize the front end (...unless there's an offset tow hook plate mount).

If they fallow the trend as far as each generation performing better, I would be happy.

I wish the weight will be below the G80, again WISH

The seats are awesome, saves me money buying new ones.

If this is the case, M3 would be in much more demand than the M4

Looks far more accurate than the previous front end renderings. I like it a lot better, but still am not much of a fan. I hope the hood line follows the shape of the grille and isn't separate like this.

The previous one's grilles look far too skinny compared to the renderings and look more tacked on. I think it'll look more like these recent renderings, with the grille "floating" and overhanging the mouth to give it some more depth and dimension.

This certainly looks better 😎
In another thread our resident BMW insider said that the bones of the homage is not from the G8X but from another car. New M2? One can at least hope that is the case since the homage concept deserves to be a production car, it’s very cool, a perfect example of a new and fresh design with roots in historic BMW greats.

I’ll have the rendered G8Xs including the convertible over a hot rodded G20 or updated F80 design any day. The G20 design is yawn and the F80 design language is beautiful but long in the tooth and need a major overhaul. Are these renders stunning? No but they are fresh and far from ugly. Brave and bold is better than stale and old.

The front style is growing on me - I like unique cars. However - once you put a plate on the front, the design is destroyed.

The grill now appears to be a full blown oven. I'm trying to like, but it's not easy.
