It will also change lanes just by using the turn signal. Although I still need to see if it would do more than one lane if you keep the signal on.
So far the lane change assist looks like a 2020 G20 option? My 2019 G20 does not have that option, it has Driver Assist Pro etc. I hope either the update adds it or it can be coded =|
I can confirm that you can code the lane change, and once coded it works just as well as my x7

I've been using the backup assist a bunch lately since pulling out of our garage takes a bit of effort. It's really fantastic! I just put it in reverse, tap the backup assist on touch screen, and control the brake. It works very well and never thought I'd care about that one. It's kind of magic.

360 camera are really useful and also panoramic cameras for blind assist works really well.

Adaptive cruise control with steering assist is the most useful. Cover around 25k a year so use this more then anything.

Anyone had the balls to leave their hands off the steering wheel and ignore the warnings when steering assist is on?

I did in the fast lane of the motorway, interesting to say the least lol!
The driving assist pro / traffic jam assist features and the 360 camera features were must haves for me, just from watching videos -- looking forward to trying them out.

Curious what happened when you ignored the hands on wheel warning? Don't think I've seen a video of anyone doing this yet, they always take wheel when its blinking red.
If you don't take the wheel after the red warning the next warning says stopping vehicle and applies the brakes to stop you.

Thanks zmm12345, can you let me know how you coded it? I have Carly but that's useless for the G20 so far...

Thanks, I'm happy it's confirmed that it can be coded!

I was going to say- doesn't it stop the car? I guess that would turn out to be interesting on the freeway...

If you have ESYS with Launcher pro, then you can code the following

• bdc_body 3 – cafd 7083 – spurwechsel_assistent
• change to active
• hu_mgu – cafd 3E52 – spurwechselassistent
• change from nicht_activ to gen_1
• SAS2– cafd 42C1 – C_SWA_VORHANDEN
• change to NR001_VORHANDEN

Ok great thanks for that info! Looks like I'll need to read other posts to find out how to use ESYS and which OBD connector to use.
