Are the optional M Sport brakes on the 330i the same size as those on the M340i?
Does anyone know if the M sport brakes on a 330 and a M340 will have the same brake disc dimensions? Thanks.

It's terrible, I brought it is because of the noise and my car does has this loud clunk when in reverse only when it's cold out, in took it in 5 times and they don't know what it is.. I gave up but almost positive that it has something to do with the brakes and locking up in the cold..

340 msport brakes (blue caliper) are bigger than standard However with no standard model m340 the blue caliper msport upgrade for the 330 could be the same. I think more likely is there will be an intermediate size for the 330 but still smaller than the M340 |

All of the blue calipers are the same (Brembo) they are used in the M2,M3, M4 and as an option on most other BMW models. The squeaking discussed above is because of the pads not the calipers, basically the moisture creates a rust layer and you have to generate heat to work that layer off. Not a big issue. There are some very good aftermarket pad options that not only resolve this issue but also reduce brake dust.

The only difference is the size of the rotor paired with that caliper is different between the applications. I.e. the rotors on a F30 340i with the blue M-Sport brakes are smaller than the rotors on an M3. Same calipers though.

I have a 2021 330e with M breaks and they make a terrible noise when I stop for red. Which aftermarket brands would you recommend to solve this issue here, Bmw Denmark is not working very much for solving this problem. |

For G series M3/4 Calipers are a totally different design than regular 3 series, I think they are based on Brembo GT calipers like the ones Porsche uses. M340i Track Pack calipers are basically 5/7 series and also X3M calipers but using different sizes rotors depending on application.
