Recently purchased a 2019 M5 and I have been getting a ton of similar errors. Car is at the dealership and they said that the license plate was put on without a bracket and it’s covering the radar sensor. They are recommending putting the license plate bracket on the fix the issue but they are quoting me $200.

Anyone else receive similar recco?

I had just bought some bumperplugs to remove the front plate.

Hi, so I had this error recently appear, but I do not have the 3 camera KAFAS system since I dont have the Pro assist driving stuff. Also running 11.2019

Pretty normal to see that in very heavy rain because of the reduced visibility.

Seemed there was a lot of issues with the camera array with the X5's X3's on other threads in 2019 & 2020 and some G20's from the 2019 2020 era. I haven't seen much talk about it in 2021 2022 and 2023 till it happed to my 2020. Hope cameras do not fail on my 2020 after its out of warranty. Do not see much talk about it currently.

I’ve just experienced this issue after almost 2 years of use. It’s occurring multiple times every day in perfectly clear weather. All sensors are clean so can only assume the KAFAS has given up. The constant ‘bong’ warning is quite distracting on the freeway, especially when it’s trying to ‘bong’ several times a second
