To be fair .. many people still complain about the s55 exhaust, and indeed there are many M2 owners that prefer their N55 sounds and have NOT gone to an M2C for that exact reason.

So even Internet whining .. does still involve lost sales.

I stilllllll, even after seeing this, am a little skeptical. Doesn't this look a little too concept-y? Mirrors, door handles... the head and tail lights don't look like something we've had on the mules either. Looking back at a 2013 thread the 4 series concept and final product are nearly identical down to even those small details.

Maybe all of that stuff will be production?

Hopefully it grows on me because I really don't think I want that front end in my sleeper sedan... you had your faith well placed, dude!

Don't like it at all. BMW is loosing its identity with a bullshit- kidney design. The rest of teh car is really nice....why they ruined it this way?

I agree this does look more concept-y than the last 4 series concept. The F32 4 series concept was like 95% production-intent where this seems more like 85%. I don't mind the big grill style and I like that a G80 M3 will look way different than a G20 3 series but I might have to go BSM to make it a bit more of a sleeper, like you said... because there is no hiding that grill in AW or lighter colors

I like it a lot.

I think the production model will be toned down just a smidge...add in the M touch, wider fenders and fatter tires, etc...it should look real mean.

Any speculation on how much more it will cost than the F8X?

One visual quality I've always appreciated about Bmw was its subtle, handsome and tastefully sporty appearance. This is ostentatious and tacky.

Doesn't look terrible, better than anticipated. I honestly thought they were messing about the huge grilles just to grab attention.

Can't wait to see how expensive it's going to be to fix any type of front fender bender damage on this vehicle. Still probs sticking to the M340i for my next purchase.

Well plenty of people where saying BMW's where all the same...this is what you get. Tacky really is the word. Looks like this was designed by my toddler. The car looks way too cartoonish. My lease is up in 9 months. I just hope there are still some great deals on F80/F87s.

Honestly I like it, and welcome the change. I keep seeing this competing with the Audi A5, and E Class coupe.

Graph the front/grill area of the CSL homage onto the Concept and it would be perfect.

And to think everyone laughed at the Lexus Predator grille. Looks downright tame compared to this angry beaver!
