Tbh, the grill is s too exaggerated for my taste and too prominent. It's like going to an outdoor party with the biggest sunglasses ever. You'll stand out alright, but get ready to put your flame suit on.

That is one grill only a mother would love. It's either you love it or hate it. There is no middle ground this time...

They had to run this design by a bunch if people to agree to it.

Which school of the blind did they use?

I just can't believe multiple people looked at this design and approved it.

Basic laws of aesthetics would require that this vehicle be proportional to be considered beautiful. With the incorporation of that GRILL - this car is neither.

I don't know what BMW is thinking. There goes my G82 m4 idea. Back to the M5, M8 or E63s.

what a difference that makes! honestly its a small adjustment i know, but it immediately makes it less goddy and less of some kinda stupid statement like lexus and infiniti does these days. you cant just force something that huge onto an otherwise good looking car ... i guess theres still hope the actual production car will be just slightly different enough that these "statement pieces" wont be so our ur f*ckin face

Im just gonna start chanting "CSL Hommage!" until one of those Germans can hear me all the way across the pond

Woot! I just saved a ton of money, if the finished product looks anything like that monstrosity I'm keeping my M4 until the C8 has had a couple years to iron out the kinks. To go from the gorgeous F80/82/83 to this thing, holy shit BMW. Awful.

And the G20 looks much better in person than in pictures anyway so I expect the exact same thing to be the case with this car. I can't wait to see it live.
Same here! At first, as for the design, when I saw the g20, I was like ""it seems ok" and after I saw her in person, I was really excited the way it looked!

Let's wait for the prod car.

ive spent hours lookin at this off an on today, trying to come back each time w a fresh perspective to see if i feel the same way ... and i do. I feel like i see a car that had so many design opportunities and areas of potential to be an overall gorgeous winner, but in each of those areas they just went and totally F'ed em up trying to go all in on something different that just isnt working, making a sort of decent looking but not great car.

Even minor element and line changes to the rear and front would do wonders. They had a great thing teed up and swung and missed in my opinion.

I would love to hear what you REALLY think of this mess (car) but I'm sure you can't/won't post your true thoughts.

Transforms the car into a sharp and purposeful looking coupe where the grilles are in proportion to the rest of the front end - the lights, air intakes and the bumper surround.
The front of this concept 4 on the other hand looks as ridiculous as the X7 to my eyes. They are taking a massive gamble with this latest design language at a time when they can probably least afford to
