Thanks for linking! It shows how they've given him a lot of freedom to make their cars way more German like which is a great thing for Kia/Hyundai/Genesis.

A lot of companies, including Cadillac, are beating the Germans at their own game. I believe a key reason they don't sell as well is due to the Germans' brand recognition. I hope that the Germans are taking notice.

I feel this is entirely why the face of a BMW automobile is evolving so rapidly with the introduction of the 4/M3/M4/4CG/i4.. everyone will have "gone plaid" over next decade and brand and interface tech will be ever so much more valuable

Smile 2021 BMW 4 series Gran Coupe

Hey everyone,

Hope you are all keeping well & safe?

I have been watching this section on the forum as I am looking at the 2nd gen 4 GC as my next car. I used to own a 2014 4 series coupe (back when it came out) and I enjoyed that car. Had the Z4 since then and also love the drop down experience.
I hope the grille on the new 4 isn't as dramatic as the concept pics we have seen or recent renders?! The 3 series has a decent proportioned front end in my opinion.

What do you guys think of it?

Thomas

Ps here is a YT video of new renders of the 4 if anyone wishes to see?

Cadillac has been trying to beat the Germans since forever. They really lack appeal despite churning out decent products sometimes. The CTS-V couldn't knock off the M3 any more than their bargain basement offerings will knock off a 3/4.
