Arrow Which of these two 330i builds should I buy?

So, I'm looking at two similarly priced builds right now. Both have Premium Package, Live Cockpit, and Ambient Lighting.

A) 2019 330i Sport Line with Driver Assistance Professional
B) 2019 330i M Sport

I haven't driven an M Sport model, but I have driven a Sport Line model. Please let me know which you think I would be happier with. Thanks

I like the look of the M Sport package. It also has the thicker steering wheel.
And I don't really need the driving assistant plus... I don't have it on my car.

Keep in mind that the base sport line suspension is stiffer and firmer than the F30. Being in NY- if you get the msport better add the adaptive b/c it will be pretty uncomfortable on those roads for day to day driving. I have the sportline and i'm in NC where the roads are pretty smooth and it's fine...but going over a rough patch i can see how much stiffer and firmer the suspension is. M sport is prob much stiffer so keep that in mind.

I'd say B for the overall appearance; however, you can make some luxurious color combinations on the Sport Line that you cannot with the M Sport.

I will also say that if you like driving with the windows down the base stereo doesn't get very loud to overcome all of the wind noise (sound quality is good though).

It depends on if driver assistance professional will be useful for you or not.

If you're in traffic on highways often, and you like the idea of semi/fully autonomous driving during those moments, I would go with A.

If on the other hand, you rarely find yourself in a situation where you're on the highway in traffic, or you have no problem sitting in traffic and driving on your own, and you place greater value on sporty driving, I would go with B.

I would need more information. More about you (driving style, desires, road conditions in your area, etc.) and about the cars (what options are you considering; what is very important to you and what is not, etc.)

For example, I would not buy another car without a HUD and adaptive cruise control (ACC). But that is me. I also dislike the Dakota upholstery but, again, that is me. We need to know what you like and dislike.

B, although I advise you also option in the track and handling packages, it seems like these days to get an engaging 3-series, those two options are a must.

Yep, I support this line of reasoning as well. Also please go for the staggered wheel setup.

Also very important, for me anyway, adaptive suspension! Want the car to be nice and soft for a long drive, done. Want the car to be stiff and responsive in the twisties, done.

Plus M sport is visually more appealing, the only down is the color combinations as someone already said.

Got to agree with the majority and say B.

Although you don’t see the outside of the car when you are driving the M sport is so much more pleasing to the eye from the outside....

I'm a little nervous by the thought that m sport looks appealing but doesn't feel appealing on the road unless you're on twisty roads or driving in smooth pavement. I live in NY where the streets aren't so good.

A lot of cars in dealership wether he fully loaded almost never have adaptive believe it or not.

So that's a huge concern as I don't want to be having an uncomfortable daily ride

This answer and I can confirm for my 330xdrive + Msport Package, with Msport Brakes and with Adaptive Suspension.

Why not build your own?

According to your sig you have or have had an F30 335i XDrive. So you need to immediately known that the F30 XDrive's never had the passive MSport suspension. If you had adaptive, would definitely recommend you keep it on the next one. Otherwise, bear in mind that the MSport will be a bit stiffer than what you are used to.

The steering wheel is another element to consider. MSport steering wheels are a bit thicker, which some like and some do not. You'll want to consider that as well.

Also, as you are in New York, are you considering an XDrive or RWD model? Do you consider yourself a person who prioritizes ride comfort over handling?

Hmm interesting statements. I think I may have to test drive a msport verse sport line.

And unless I build a m sport forget about adaptive that's hard to find specd

Umm I rather a comfortable and great handling car. Also no way I'll get a rwd car in NY

I remember wanting to get a cross over or a truck jsut because I didn't want that harsh feel of hitting bumps and what not

Judging by that statement: Go with the sport line. Did you find your 335xi to be harsh? Bc the sport line is going to be even firmer and stiffer. Flip side- it handles much better. It’s still a comfortable car - when the roads are fairly smooth which many aren’t in NY

Personally I would go,for B every time.

But I'm not you and have no idea what might be bested suited to match your needs.

If you,are interested in resale value in the future then it has to be B.

Thanks for that info. So you may also want to consider a new X3 with adaptive. You'd be surprised how well the X3 handles in Sport and then you can use Comfort the rest of the time. I just ordered a G20 myself but I was surprised how good the new G01 X3 is with that suspension.

Rest of you, is there any difference this time around between Sport and Luxury Line on the suspension front to smooth out OPs ride?
