For a 330e? Are you based in the UK? Did you order yours back in April? I think someone did. Very exciting... :-) Could you write up a review when it arrives?

I just checked, it's the same. Genius said it's approved for production so I guess that's 5000?

I'm from Portugal and ordered it in April, I will go on holidays next week so I think I will only pick it up in the last week of August, or in the beginning of September.

Sure I can write a review on the car, looking forward to it aswell!

Anyway the reviews of the 330e will be out in 5 days, 14th of August

I already spoke with 2 persons who drove the new 330e, and both said that it was a lot of fun, and prefered it to the 330i

Been to local Sytner and been told its 1100 so can make some changes still. I've now seen M Sport Plus pack close up now and Portimão Blue.
Its going to be November build. So will see what happens after Oct 31st...

Haven't tracked down Orange though. Stealer took me to their lock up yards to have a look. Was very helpful. Mines coming from Leicester but have asked for it be transported to local Sytner but it will still be registered in Leicester...

Latest update from BMW Genius

'Your new BMW has now reached the paint shop, where it will receive five separate layers of high-quality colour and finish that meet the exacting standards set by BMW.

Based on your order date, the latest that your order will arrive will be the week commencing 16 September'

So I am guessing it is at code 5200 - Paintshop Start

So I reckon you're at least a week ahead of me then, mine is still at Production Control Scheduled (5055). Will see if it ends up in the paint shop next week but I don't think they're due to start production until w/c 26th...

That is poor form, do they give a reason for not sharing it? Will they at least let you know the dealer?

Well not directly.
I got a call from the dealer rep (Sytner Notts) who wanted just to confirm if my order is absolutely correct no dealer info in arval system at all

I had the same. Arval claiming complete ignorance, despite me pushing quite hard. But if they're only confirming your order details now they may not have placed the order. Inchcape did this with me 4 weeks back.

I'm guessing 95% of company car orders just get "ordered" and turn up at some point and the owners don't care. Then you get folks like us that want to know all the details :-) They're not set up for it...

Thanks for sharing, apart from not really commenting on the ride quality in any detail this was a great review. I loved his grasp of English with lots of colloquialisms :-) It really did look to shift on the 0-60 test.

I thought the same when he did the 0-100 sprint first time. Looked quite rapid to me. He is a really good reviewer. I like how he asks you the viewer what do you think....

Hi All
Just ordered a 330e M Sport (via ALD as a company car) - just waiting to hear back that it's been processed at BMW.... Then we'll see how long it takes them to build/deliver it - well excited!
My spec:
• Loudspeaker System-harman/Kardon
• Portimao Blue
• Aluminium Mesheffect Interior Trim
• Premium Package
• M Sport Plus Package
• Enhanced Bluetooth+wireless Charging

Make sure you get ALD to give you the BMW order number (starts with a 4, 7 digits). Some folks haven't been able to get this from either the lease company or the supplying dealer. You can then use BMW Genius web chat to get the order/production status.

Be interested to see what delivery time they quote. Mine (assuming it turns up on time) will be about 9 weeks from order to the dealer, they have then quoted circa 10 working days for PDI etc. (which seems like a long time, will have to push on this bit!). Anyway, still quicker than I thought it might be, it did jump around a lot during the first couple of weeks, post-order acceptance... now due to go into production next week, this seems pretty locked down now but it could be Monday 26th or Friday 30th, they just give you a "week commencing" date.

Also very excited, especially given the reviews and indicated 30+ mile electric range. I was expecting about 25 miles but some folks have said the WLTP figure is pretty accurate. 35 miles would be amazing!

I read two portuguese reviews yesterday, one did 31 miles electric, the other 35 miles, this last one wrote that if they drove carefully (they hit more than 220kmh on the autobahn and drove on the motorway a bit) 38 miles would be achieved easily. Both reviews drove a total of 55 miles, fuel consumption was 3,4-4,5 l/100klms for both during the tests. Keep in mind that the day was super hot 35°C+ and AC was working in max power during the tests. It seems this G20 330e has at least doubled the electric range compared to the F30.

I have some Portuguese colleagues over from Lisbon working on my project at the moment, they've been bemoaning the lack of a decent summer this year. 35 C seems ok to me. But then we bring them to the UK!? Poor fellows ;-) Can you share the Portuguese reviews? I'll get them to translate or see how Google does :-)

3.4l/100km is about 83MPG. If I get that on my route to work I'd be pretty happy, that's 20-25MPG more than I get from my diesel Mondeo, bumbling along at 60-65mph. I've only got 45 miles to do each way (+ can charge at work), although 90% of it is a 60MPH+ roads
