Best OBD for Bimmercode app?

Guys good evening,

I am looking for the best OBD option to code my G20. I'll use bimmercodeapp and would like to see all available code options. This is what they have for G series:

UniCarScan UCSI-2000 Bluetooth
OBDLink MX+ Bluetooth
MHD ENET
modBMW ENET

I've bought the UniCarScan UCSI-2000 Bluetooth, and works very well with my m340i.

The MHD adaptor could be a good one if you plan to buy their tune in the future.

What have you been able to code?

Just the Alpina dials at the moment, but you can check the list online. There's lots of things you can code on G20.

OBD/Enet cable all the way for me. Call me old school, but I try not to program or flash any devices devices wirelessly if I can help it. Especially not something I can't wipe and rebuild myself, like a car's MCUs.

Hi,

I bought & use OBDLink MX+ Bluetooth; it comes with a good diagnostic app that I have on Samsung phone in addition to Bimmercode. Both work well; have used it on a friend's 7 series & my son's Mini to read error codes.

One thing to be aware of is to make sure all other Bluetooth signals are off so as to minimize any problems -- so I turn off my car's bluetooth & leave my smart watch in the house when I am using OBD II bluetooth devices

Hope that helps
