BMW G21 M340i xDrive Touring B58D 3.0i
CO2 (NEDCcorr) 165 g/km (Registered before April 2020)
CO2 (WLTP) 192 g/km (Registered from April 2020)
Hang on, do i understand this right ?

The difference is quite a big number, but not as big as your figures have shown Hunky.

There is so much confusion over this. If you have a look at the GOV site, the picture on there is a clear as mud.

There are so many difference new testing standards, NEDDCcor, WLTP, RDE2, ridiculous. And if the picture is even worse if your car is going to be a company car as the way to work that out requires quantum physics!!

Perhaps we need a sticky on this or a new thread so that the title lets others know as we have hijacked the OP's thread?

Ouch! Hoping the 330e doesn't jump by that much.

What did the base price minus packs move to? Config has at £39285 at the moment.

After April 1st only WLTP matters. Look at websites like comcar or Fleetnews for upto date info in terms of Tax for company car drivers.

I don't know Fred as my quote was for a M340ix. Sorry.

So am I right with the £1,280 for post April registrations?

It’s bloody confusing (and I’m easily confused!)

Well, I am not sure. If you look at the Gov site then yes, but, my dealer said it was less of an increase than from £530 to £1280.

Guys, the new VED is £1280 for the M340ix. My understanding is that it is for all cars registered on or after 1st April 2020.

VED rates (and BiK) not 100% guaranteed until after the budget on 11th March. Little change expected for hybrids. Also, I believe price agreed when vehicle is ordered is honoured by BMW (except if VAT rate changes).
