M340i Delivery start dates in Canada?

Hey Guys
My lease on my 2016 340xi is coming up in March 2019. I would like to replace it with the G20 M340xi and am wondering if I will be able to get one by March in Canada??

Should be cars by March/April. Maybe you can extend lease 1-3 months if you have a car on order? It's easy to do with BMWFS in US. I hope you're prepared to pay top dollar for an early production car...

Frankly speaking, I wouldn't do it. Why I continue to like BMW is partly because I have a rule that I will not buy/lease the first year of a new model. I'm not into beta testing my every day driver.

M340i wont be released till the following year. 2019 will only be 330i

Everything I've read indicates the M340i will be a few months behind the 330i which is coming out in late 2018 as a 2019 model. So the M340i should be coming around mid 2019 as a 2020 model.

Like others have said though, it's probably smart to wait a year for the kinks to get worked out. Think about owning a 2012 F30 or the early 2013 F30s. You could always try to find a one year lease on a small cheap car to hold you over. It can actually be pretty fun and help you gain a bit of perspective. You'll ultimately appreciate your M340i that much more when you do get it.

I don't think the US is going to see any deliveries until March/April of 2019 (with the M340i coming a few months later) but I'm hoping I'll be wrong about this.
