Where have you seen this? The online price hasn't changed.

When is it from? 1st March?
On our fleet portal the P11D just change.

We use Inchcape and they're all the ball when it comes to this ..

So am assuming it will reflect on the BMW website in the next couple of days.

Why can't / won't you go for a car with P11D price over £40k? i thought the issue was P11D price over £40k is just for road tax extra which the pcp / lease company deal with?

Or am i missing something?

Cheers

I test drove a 330e on Friday and the dealer also confirmed the m sport was increasing to over £40k from March 1. The bloody additional VED is so annoying.

No, i am OK with the car going over 40k. There is no policy to say you can't, however the extras i picked for the order took me up to my allowance. So if the price increases i'll have to change that aspect....

Ah OK that makes sense now, i keep seeing the £40k P11D value around the forum but it obviously relates more to each companies allowance i presume.

Most company have different type allowances and agreement.

My company absorbs most of the VED hence why reluctance to go over £40k.

Not the best use of tax payers money 😬

That's not good! That instantly adds £20-£25 / month to lease prices and will take it out of our car scheme, leaving us with Sport Pro (only just) and SE Pro.

It's ludicrous that the £40k thing hasn't risen in line with inflation, although I guess the government has to recover the lost BIK somehow.

Looks like the price hike has taken effect. Order has been acknowledged and placed with the dealer. P11D value has risen by the £720 on the acknowledgment.

Now the waiting game.......

Out of curiosity, how long are they quoting for delivery? I finalised my spec at the weekend (order went in on Jan 27th) and dodged the price rise. I'm hoping for April delivery but dealer not guaranteeing it.

Initial date on the portal suggests mid September however I'm not sure how accurate that is. That would be 7 months.....

What did you go for?

I ordered a 330e about 2 weeks ago and my delivery date is quoted as 10th July. Changes to BIK have ramped up demand for the 330e, my lease company say it might affect all 3 series models.

Portimao M Sport with Mocha interior, not much in the way of extras just 19" alloys , extended storage and driving assistance pro

September is a long wait!!

Demand for any PHEV is going to rocket. Battery manufacturers may struggle to keep up... and I bet most will never see a charger.

Stupid, short sighted government policy again.

Based on that I may get mine a little earlier.....however they probably have a 2 week shutdown period within August. So September ready for the '70' plate would be ok.

I went M Sport with Mineral Grey with Black Leather, Aluminium mesh. HK sound, Sun protection glass, extended storage and heated steering wheel.

I wanted the Mocha but lease company wouldn't quote for it as they said it would lower residuals? If I insisted they said it would increase the monthly cost.

Also on our quote portal adding 19" wheels increased the cost disproportionately to other options. Not sure why.....

I'm buying privately so no company car rules for me. Interesting the mocha reduces the residuals, I went for it because I'm a bit fed up of black interiors. oyster would probably be my first choice but I've kids so it's a no no.

I wanted a change from black too. But Oyster was a no as warned it doesn't wear well and others had paid fines at end of lease, and the cognac I liked but didn't like the lower dash in that colour.

Oh well....you cant go wrong with black lol

The New Kuga just took a massive reduction in lease price on our portal today. Literally £100 of each version.

Have to admit, I’d find it hard to resist and St Line X or Vignale Kigali hybrid. May not have the quality of my F10, but the practicality would do it for me.
