Who's planning to buy an M340i now and then get the M3 when it comes out?
Anyone here ordering an M340i with plans to "upgrade" to an M3 when it debuts?

Yes, a true M vehicle has the open double vent kidney grill. Such as other characteristics is the "A" shape front air duct, compared to the series M sport which is shaped as a "M". Quad tail pipes is an M standard. There is a weblink reference for all the M design standards that is different from the series production.

my lease is up during holiday 2020, but the M3 will likely have just been released so i am thinking it will be an M340 then and 3 years later kick up to the M3 at LCI. will all be dependant on incremental expense for the M3 over the M340, if it ends up not being that much then i might just go strait to the M3....
jealous of the dealer employees being able to turnover their cars annually!!! |

I think BMW should do flexible leasing. If I'm paying 900 a month i want to be able to choose and change cars. Maybe not every week. But definitely schedule it. X5 for the winter, 550 for spring M3 for summer track days Throw in 750 for going to dinners with clients and you can have my 900 a month for life
