So 245/40x19 rub at the front? That sucks. I was hoping to do that for a winter square setup.

What do you mean the technical max on 19x9 is 235? Without rubbing, right? Because 19x9's can fit much wider than 235; OEM rears are 255's on 19x8.5.
Sorry about the late reply... I don't check this app too often. I actually meant 19x8, not 19x9. It's told by Michelin Rep as I was trying to order a new set of tires

I have no rub what so ever running 19x8.5 +25 with Michelin PS4S 245/40/19 in the fronts.. It is tight but there is no rub. I can go snap pictures if y'all want.

I'd definitely appreciate it as I'm about to order 4 245/40/19 to replace these useless rfts. Glad to hear there's no rub!!

Will 245's fit on the stock rim that comes with the 225's (8" not 8.5" I think)
Can someone pls confirm? I want to replace only the rear wheels, if possible.....

the base of the strut has about half an inch above the tire, no rub.. very very close but has not made contact and the roads here in Austin are not always the nicest.

turn-in clearance is also about half an inch, as you can see there is no signs of rubbing on the fender liner.

Mind you this is with non-stock wheels (these fronts are 19x8.5 +25) and the vehicle has the optional Adaptive M Suspension.

Stock 225 square set up came with 19x8 wheels. Michelin rep told me it won't fit 245 well. So I had to order 19x8.5 for the rear
