'21 S676A Hifi Freeway Driving
I've been looking at the forums and really haven't found anything but I'm having some serious sound quality issues on my 330i. Apologies in advance if this is a common issue and I'm a doofus for not being able to find it online. It's not really prevalent when driving on regular roads but when I'm on the freeway, the audio quality is absolutely terrible.
The main issue seems to be that the audio adjusts itself when there are less channels playing - so like when there's just a song where the instruments are few, the audio is fine. However, when the song fills up the speakers the audio gets quiet and weak - I don't really listen to music very loudly but it's so blatantly obvious. I tried the other sources of music but the volume still feels like it auto-adjusts and it's driving me insane. Is this normal for the car? |

That's pretty funny, my last car was a 2019 Golf R and it also had a great sound system.

I've tried the settings, but all it does it amplify the problem. Like a song will get really loud when it's the "quiet" part of the song, but as soon as the song resumes with the rest of the instruments the whole thing gets quiet. It feels like the car is using it's own mic to adjust the dB in the car.
