3 series LCI by AC Schnitzer

The arrival of the LCI version this summer meant a couple of updates to our program for the 3 series.

Our trademark front spoiler elements (corner pieces) are dropped and replaced with a full width front splitter.

A dedicated rear bumper protection strip for the touring version was required.

Apart from that, everything from the pre-LCI version fit as usual.

Let me know what you think

It's how AC Schnitzer designate the M340d by AC Schnitzer. No I don't know either.

Think you've done a good job on a retrograde LCi update. BMW have made the front lower grille/bumper and rear a complete dog's dinner.

Not sure what you mean by "retrograde" Charlie? This is an LCI car.

IMO, and just an opinion that most can ignore, I consider the design of the LCi a real backward step.

I was kind of hoping this thread would be about the AC Schnitzer components rather than a bun fight about whether the LCI is better/worse than the pre-LCI!

Why cos you work for them? The fifth word you typed in this thread was "LCI" so you brought it up.

Shall we talk about no buttons? No? OK then.

Kinda looks more like an advert for your company's products to me.

However, in relation to the thread, I agree with Charlie. You've done a good job at improving what (imo again) mess BMW have made of the front and rear bumpers.

Can't put lipstick on a pig, though you've done a good enough effort, and let's not forget, your company is a lot about the aesthetics.

Every time I see your posts like this here I’m tempted to say that advertising really belongs in the classified sub-forum. But others seem to like the posts (and the tarted up cars) so I keep my gob shut. I’m just an old grump who doesn’t really like “look at me” cars. I prefer to drive something more anonymous.

Not a fan of the LCI front end but that front lip looks pretty sharp

Lorcan I think your LCI Touring looks awesome..

I have just got the LCI M340d Saloon, love the big screens and the new design. Think I might have to take a look at the ACS Saloon upgrades

There will always be people that moan about the new design, just look at the M4/3.. Now look at all the people buying them

I think it is, I wanted the LCI over the old car.. Just think it looks better and has a more modern interior with the bigger screens

Not sure why waste energy over how the new car looks.
The old car looks so generic in the dark with the headlights on. Especially without the laser shape. Not even recognizable as a BMW.
At least the new one looks unique.
As for the inside, nothing to miss if you didn't have it to begin with!

The front and rear are an improvement IMO. Looks a lot more modern as the non-LCI was showing its age. Just a shame the pricing on the LCI's are now so much higher than pre-LCI due to inflation.

Back to the Ac Schnitzer version, is the exhuast aftermarket? I know the standard is an oval type of design.

Don't read the thread if your not interested in the products, surely.

Yes, we offer exhausts for the 320i, 330i and M340i. For the diesels, we offer tailpipes only.
