Waze no longer showing in digital cluster/hud?

There was recently an android auto update and a waze interface update using my Samsung S20 and now waze no longer shows the route in the digital cluster or hud. I am almost positive this was not the case previously. Google maps still shows, it appears to only be waze that has the issue.

Waze will only show if you're on a route. Did you have a route programmed in or just had the map open?

Yes i am aware. Like i said it was working and recently stopped. I do perform beta testing for Waze and am currently on version 4.69.4.910. Maybe the beta version has something to do with it.
