Do F30 BMW Roof Rails fit on the G20?

Already found out my F30 winter wheels have a different lug pattern. Hoping maybe I can at least salvage the rack base system. Not very hopeful.

I too hoped to reuse the rails from my 2017 340i. I noticed they changed the bolt size (M6 to M7), so I thought I could reuse by just swapping out the bolt. However, I just called my local BMW dealer and they informed me the rails changed too. Begrudgingly just ordered a new set…

I've had oem rails the last 2 cars, this time I'll be getting thule ones. At least theres a passing chance I'll be able to reuse them then.

I unfortunately don't have my rack here to test it, but I can confirm that are little doors are on the rails just as they were on the E90 and the F30. I used my E90 roof rack on the F30 with no issues, I am assuming the same will be the case for the G20. As I mentioned, I don't have access to the rails at the moment, and it might be a few months until I can test it, but I can take some measurements if anyone wants.. or at least find the correct bolt size.

I‘ve gone from the e90 to f30, no issues. The g20; the fun stops with the roof racks. Same rails but you need an M7 bolt, and I havent found an acceptable solution. Any help?

I see someone has said about from.f30.to a g20 and the bolts where different m6 to m7 but not sure if the g20 will.fit the f30

Asking before I purchase and travel to buy a secondhand set.
