Ordering with sunroof delete?
Has anyone tried to order without speccing a sunroof? I usually order without one and I’m not seeing it on the 2020 pricing/order guides like I usually do. I hope it’s still available to do.
Looks like it’s not on any of the other models pricing/order guides like it was for the 2019s. |

I would ask dealer about an individual order, maybe it can be done? Have not heard of anyone doing it

My e46 M3 had it, but I don't think I have seen one since.

Just curious, why would you want a sunroof delete?
I am new to this forum and this would be my first post. I always had the curiosity why do people would want to delete the sunroof. Is it because you want a stiffer car? Personal question: I know people who are allergic to the sun. Is this your case? |

Here in the U.K. I was able to spec out the sliding roof which helped to tip the balance to buy as I could not do this with a M Benz.
I had two previous cars which had sliding roofs and found I never used them. It was a waste of money for me. If I was a smoker perhaps I would. Cannot honestly see the use of them. They are expensive, can be drafty, let in the noise and a distraction. But each to his own! |
