We've got a full truck, 7 or 8 units depending on closed or open transport, headed our way with them. So excited! The M Sport's look great. M340 might be my next CEL.

In 2006? That would work out to $69800 in 2019 dollars.

next Check Engine Light?

Cel- Defn- a transparent sheet of celluloid or similar film material, which can be drawn on and used in the production of cartoons.

I am sure your term is some inside language that those outside of a dealership aren't privy to..

Haha! Yes I should've clarified - CEL also means Center Employee Lease, meaning employee pricing.

Remember paying $27,740 for my 2006 MSport 325, 6Speed. Would be equal to $40k today.

In all seriousness this car is irrelevant and dead on arrival in my opinion. It's too expensive and doesn't move the needle driving dynamics wise enough to validate it's existence in today's market place. ICE sedans are dead at this price point and the sales volume or lack there of will continue to prove this out.

Another jack of all trades, does everything well sedan doesn't change the game anymore. Too many good options at lower price points. Elon Musk has to be licking his chops. This will be the first 3 series since the E46 that I don't purchase.

I'm contemplating an F31 now since I want a wagon before they go kaput but using that, $62k, as a starting point is jaw dropping. It's 37% over the starting price!

Time to look at some nice American muscle for the $50-$60k price range. BMW is dreaming.

It was loaded and I picked it up on the dealer lot in late 2017 after it was sitting for close to a year and the 2018's were landing. Big discount, big lease incentive, relatively low payment. Many in this thread are focusing on the MSRP which is certainly valid. However, BMW moves cars by offering fantastic lease rates and incentives. The majority of people lease them for this reason. You can typically lease a $60k BMW for a lower monthly payment than a much cheaper Toyota or Honda - certainly less than Audi or Mercedes. I'm not trying to start a lease versus buy argument. In fact I'm sure this newly released G-series does not lease well because it's the latest thing. Wait a year and the deals will flow.

I agree. They have aggressive lease rates. I got my current E92 like this. I'm hoping I can get an F31 in a similar situation.

Adjusted for inflation, $57,200 in 2011 translates to $63,900 in 2019 dollars.
