I'm really considering ordering now. This sounds perfect. Other videos didn't pick up the sounds I'm hearing in this video. I just don't know about the tips. They seem too large. Can we use the stock tips with this or no?

I think it's the best sounding exhaust made for the m340i and best priced too I can't believe how much people are paying for other exhaust and some don't even have a valve If you do order this be prepared to wait tho

From what I’ve heard the AWE Track Exhaust does not have a valve so when in Sport Plus its just raw sound.

How could it be that a guy named "Unruly" wants a valve on his exhaust?

I love how the guy in the video said, about the AWE exhaust, "I don't want to be that guy" LOL

I guess I'm "that guy". My exhaust probably sound like a somewhat louder version of Dinan when the valve is open. And I have the resonated touring, which is tame. I can't even imagine what the track exhaust sounds like

Dinan is totally worth it. Full disclosure you'll be waiting a while for it as they're depending on supply chains for pieces, and they're own production line. But still stand that it's worth it. The tips are large. But they fill up the opening well, and don't look like you're trying to shoehorn large tips in. They fit and flow. The OEM finishers that bolt onto the bumper won't fit.

Trust me when I say this, it’s insanely loud especially the cold start. I’m pretty sure my neighbors hate me and if they didn’t before I’m sure they do now as I have a catless dp and the idle is super loud too now.

^ I don’t doubt for a second that you have a loud cold start, probably louder than mine (and mine is very loud) with that catless dp

No. I'm not sure any cat-back or axel-back from the major brands like Fi, Dinan or AWE throws a code

thanks for the reply! Would you say the track exhaust is TOO loud? I'm keeping the dp stock, but its for my daily.

I mean it could be worse if you deleted all the cats but for its not too bad since I love loud and rowdy and don't mind drone cruising at 3-4k rpm. If you can stand all of that I would recommend otherwise go with the Dinan or AWE Touring non-resonated

I have a G42 so I'm thinking the same exhaust for the g20 should fit on mine. I'm planning on getting a catted dp eventually so maybe the youring non resonated should be good

I would say non resonated for stock dp but if you're going aftermarket I think resonated.

I'm not sure sure regarding the fitment. I would DM Josh/AWE first regarding that. I would assume it's identical

No. They do not come with a valve. But why would you want a valve? The valve turns off in comfort and eco and turns on in sport as set by factory.

Oh, oops, I thought you have Dinan.

So let me get this right--you have AWE Track exhaust AND catless downpipe? Holy smokes your car must be crazy loud! I wish I could hear it in person

Hell no. No valve with AWE (touring or track) and no thank you. I'm done with exhaust valves.

I'm about to do away with valves on my Porsche too, when the PSE gets swapped out for my new valveless 3" wide exhaust with high flow cats.

Cant use stock tips; it's one of the best sounding exhausts, also very reasonably priced
