Power Magic Pro - Constant Power Circuit
Hi All,
Has anyone connected up a BlackVue dash cam using the Power Magic Pro (to the rear fuse box)? I'm having trouble locating a constant power circuit. I thought the one i had wired up was good, but it seems to cut out after 10 minutes. The fuse map isn't really revealing... |

Rather than using a Power Magic Pro, have you considered installing a Cellink Neo battery? Blackvue sell the same battery, re-packaged.
The battery will give you around 20-24 hrs of camera use while parked.....far more than the PMP. Cost......around $300+, depends where you purchase. I had a PMP for my BlackVue dashcams on my F30 335i, but found it discharged the car battery too much (even though the PMP was set to the lowest discharge setting) to the point where the auto start-stop would not work. The ASS does not work unless the battery is in top condition. The battery was never discharged enough to prevent the car from starting. This is the failsafe of the PMP.

When my car arrives in March/April I will be installing BlackVue 900S dual channel with a Cellink Neo rather than a PMP.
