Broker messed up my order

Hi all. Went through a recommended broker and received this email. Car was special ordered and supposed to have two things installed: the body matched m sport spoiler (option 925) that’s standard on the m340i, and the black mesh front grille that was to be subsidized. Something tells me that he just lip serviced me and didn’t follow through initially and now sticking it to me because the car arrived unexpectedly early. (two weeks early)

The grille is a $150 part online and a fairly straight forward install. Apparently he didn’t read my initial 10 emails about not wanting the m performance matte spoiler.

If you haven't already paid for that stuff I'm your deal, then I'd say this is better. I don't let the dealer install anything. I'll get my parts online myself and self install. All of those pieces are a piece of cake and you'll spend half the cost.

^^exactly. Just take delivery as is and buy the parts you want and install them yourself (or have a body shop do it for like an hour worth of labor). You'll save a ton in the end.

Hopefully my car is on the way to the dealer then as it's supposed to be. My online tracking still shows at US port and I'm worried it's been stuck there for a week due to this corona BS

The online tracker at bmwusa.com is not particularly accurate. Mine went from “At the Port” (awaiting cattier assignment) to delivered in 3 days! 🤦🏻*♂️

Hoping that's going to be the case for mine too

Curious, is this a cash/finance or lease?

Found grille online for $145. Dealership wanted $400. Makes you wonder.

Now if I can do the swap without messing it up!
