Require a PIN to start car?
Recently one of my neighbours had an attempted car theft (Audi SUV) from their home. The thieves broke into the house to get the vehicle key.
So looking at this in relation to our G20’s I have been looking at Driver Profiles etc to see if there was a way to enable that a PIN was required in addition to the key in order to start the engine. Whilst profiles allow PIN’s I can see no way to use it as I would like. Have any others managed to do this ?

If you are that concerned, pick up a small home safe and leave your fobs in that. Unless you are in an incredibly unsafe neighborhood, your concern seems a bit overdone.

Not a theft deterrent, but valet mode provides some protections against potential abuse, such as locking the iDrive (can’t put it into sports modes!), locking VSC off function, and locking tailgate. If someone stole your car in valet mode for joy riding, there’s a limit to how badly they could abuse it.

Not overly concerned nor do I stay in an unsafe neighbourhood but luxury cars are stolen by others and I was just wondering if this was an easy extra security step that might have been possible.

If you haven't already looked into this, you could try Autowatch Ghost. I'm getting this installed in my car next week.

I welcome any suggestions as last thing I want is my car taken but now have to put my work hat on! I would recommend giving them what they want if they are in your house as I know of people who have been dragged to the car and made to engage kill switches, override immobilisers etc. If keys are In a safe they will force you to open it and they don't give a shit what it takes. Deterrent is the best way such as CCTV, flood lights, physical barriers such as security posts. Anything what delays them and increases the risk of them being caught is a better deterrent. Cars insured (or should be lol) so not worth getting anyone hurt!
