As someone that has been following The Ford Bronco and followed the 718 GT4, BMW is in light speed territory in comparison....

But when the 718 GT4 was announced, the configurator was all ready to go and orders were turned to production relatively quickly. I don't know if the same could be said when the new gen M3/4 is announced. Especially if you're using the M2CS as a marker...

Confirmation on release times is my biggest unknown, will we get the AWD version together with the RWD or will they be stacked?

Another hugely interesting area is weight. Absolute would be best but I suspect if we get anything it will be relative to the F8X and maybe between the G8X configurations.

Then there is engine tuning, is it the exact X3M tunes or will the M3/4 icon get some extra juice or more race track friendly tunes than the SUVs.

And downforce, is there any significant this time and on it goes. A lot of interesting stuff available to reveal

True haha you got me there. Maybe because the snout and loss of dct made me lose my interest in the car. But you're right there's still a lot we don't know about the g8x.
