I hate to spam the thread but it's been 2 weeks sitting at the port in Germany now. This seems very unusual based on the other posts I've seen. Should I be concerned?

That seems like a long time. But we don't know how they've exactly slotted the cars.

My 530e sat at the port for 4 days as it left Friday from Germany. I am on the East Coast. A West Coast ship had left on Tuesday from another thread I was reading.

But the west coast gets fewer ships so if you are on the West Coast you might be going out on the next one.

Also, the ship I'm on left on Friday, but was being loaded on Thursday. It took until today for my tracking information to update to In Transit.

Mark, if your vehicle is in transit, the genius line should provide the carrier/ship your vehicle is on. Has this happened with multiple reps? I would try calling back and ask for the ship name. They should also know the exact day your vehicle left port.

I will say, most of the ship tracking is done with shore based AIS, so when you track the ship, you won't see much updates on the crossing of the atlantic. I would rely on the estimate arrival time from the marine tracking sites. Otherwise you have to pay for SAT tracking.

yea... you have to figure +2 days at the factory +1-3 for train to port +5-12 days to find a ship to the west coast +30 days on a ship +1-5 days at port +transport to dealer and prep.
I would hope for early/mid November.

However, 'Certificate of Conformity from Factory' that came with Car, is dated 30/07 (therefore, I have no idea what the car was doing in Munich for 6 weeks!!)
It missed the ship that sailed on 31/07 hence was on the next one and eventually arrived early September.

Finally got it on 06/09,

Car's been at the port since 9-13. MyBMW garage shows it's been 'in transit' since mid last week. Called BMWNA today to see what ship it's on. They say they have live information and that the car still shows as 'at the port.' They don't know why the website says it's in transit. Has anyone else had a discrepancy like that? If so, was it indeed BMWNA that was more accurate?
Will check with my CA, but he probably has the same info as BMWNA I would guess.

My car is still at the port. Just checked the Wallenius Wilhelmsen schedule, and it looks like the vessel Themis will be at the Bremerhaven Port on 9/25 and it will be going to the west coast. It should arrive at Port Hueneme by 10/22. I suspect that this is the ship that my car will be on.

Just found out mine is on Apollon Leader. It's showing Panama as final destination...I'm assuming that cars will transfer to another carrier there? Anyone else on this boat?
