I want a coupe. As a single guy I don't have a need for 4 doors, and I have a Jeep Cherokee anyway for something larger. Unfortunately, in this price range there really aren't any other viable coupe options. I was going to look into an AMG C63 coupe, but now they aren't bringing them over here. Apparently the world is buying SUVs. The Audi's S5's are too square. You think these grilles are bad, that thing on the Lexus is the most hideous thing ever. Porsche gets expensive really fast. Infiniti seems like a dying brand. My parents are trying to talk me into ordering a new Corvette like they have on order. Hot car, but a little too overt for me as a daily driver and to drive to work. I've had my current M4's for 4 years now and am ready for something new. Unfortunately, while I don't love it as much as I'd like to so far, the new M4 is really the only game in town. The M4 (and M3) has the sportiness and new tech, yet can go under the radar for those that don't know what they are looking at, of course unless you get it in some out there color (like say, yas marina blue?

).

So, it looks like a new M4 it is for me.

They didn't even hire a good graphic designer to do the teasers... sheesh. This looks like a kid dragging every smoke plugin in photoshop or after effects on a few pics

We have reached a point where complaining about the grilles is so played out that BMW's photoshop skills are next on the docket.

I wish I could keep a running list of those who claim they will definitely NOT buy the car so they can be called out at some point in the next 5 years should they buy one.

There was a very funny list of people who were "big grille deniers." Initially, people thought BMW was spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to troll us with "large decoy grilles." Then, hundreds of people refused to believe the M3 would have the same large grille as the M4.

That list should be resurrected tomorrow haha.

I think that was my thread as well. It was pretty funny watching some backpedal.

Grille complainers have been VERY repetitive for nearly a year now. Pot? Kettle? It's kind of a, "Do as I say, not as I do" scenario. Complainers should be allowed to complain incessantly, but those who like the car or who address the complainers should silence themselves.

OK, so presume some of us will do, what's wrong with that? Only idiots never change opinion. The issue remains, why design a car that polarizes so much already from the start while it's not necessary?

Besides, suppose I get lucky enough and I can buy one, will it become a beauty to me than all of a sudden? Don't think so, I will accept its ugliness because it drives stellar (supposing it will). A bit a sad story, since it could have been beautifull to many of us all!
