Every dealer got one allocation. Might be a couple that got two, but I heard it's just one to start right now. Obviously will go up as time goes on.

It's been like that for a long time now...can't be surprised by it at this point.

Correct. Check this thread here for what the initial allocations are looking like.

I saw this car at the BMW UDE @ Met life. It had an orange interior. The green was amazing. The car is so wide and aggressive looking. It’s a hit.

Congrats OP!!
The G8x is looking pretty agressive with its increased width. The gill is appearing less and less prominent the more I look at it.
It's a good looking M!
Enjoy!

Not bad with the big side ducting compared to having more bumper there.

How did you know what the options/packages are when you ordered? The car hasn't been announced yet.

Dig into a few of the threads for a lot more detail.... to get the supply chain rolling dealers have gotten the order forms for their intro cars "HEA cars". These are option limited for simplicity and consistency, nominally are not explicitly meant for sale to consumers. however many dealers choose to sell theirs to customers at the top of their wait lists

Full option, pricing, etc etc etc coming at the full reveal

Smart move this fall when show cars have minimal use when few venture out to browse dealer showrooms.

Anyone else planning to do an individual color right out the gate? I really wanted to do fire orange on the F80 but by the time my lease was up they had ended production so I took a CS off the lot.

If Messi joins MC I have to do Mexico blue individual
Seriously I think that would look ace but I will never pay that coin for paint, I hAve too many other hobbies and commitments. That’s a nice MTB, a third of a new motorcycle, some nice heliski days etc, etc.

I probably go with Brooklyn grey as long as it isn’t flat. M3’s usually look great in light metallic greys as the E46 in silver grey and the E90 in space grey. We’ll see, I’m really undecided on color this time.

It's inspired by the water at Fenella Beach.

Holding out for AWD as well. Good thing is, I'm 9 months into my 2020 M340 and absolutely loving it. Good hold-over!

Isle of Man Green M3 at MetLife looked nothing like the deep hues of BRG. The car had a ton of carbon fiber parts fitted, so remains to be seen what production parts will look like.

Kudos to bmw for trying something new with these ‘non mainstream’ colors, I wasn’t a fan of that green but others might like it. Interior, other than M spec seats, looked the same as g20 3 series, down to idrive screen and all the buttons.
