Ambient Lighting Question

I have a 2022 M340i. Recently I changed the ambient lighting color from blue to orange. All of the sudden I noticed that the colors are automatically cycling. Is there any way to turn the auto cycling of colors off. I have no clue how it even turned on

Could be set to your key somehow even though I don’t think that’s the case. It could be driver profile as well. Did you set the new “seating position” after the lighting change?

I removed the profile from the car. Reinstalled my profile. I even disconnected the battery to see if that would reset it. No luck. Even when I log in as a guest it does it. I have also tried using the other key which isn't assigned and had no luck.
What's odd is that I used to use preset 2 as a shortcut to the ambient lighting. Now when I try to assign a preset to it, it keeps saying unable to save. There is definitely a glitch somewhere. I figured it might go away after the car and keys "went to sleep" but it still does it.

I don't have my vehicle currently, but I believe there is a setting /check box for them to cycle through each color - "dynamic lighting" maybe. Ambient lighting info is on page 177-178 in the owners manual.

Dynamic lighting doesn't factor in. That setting basically causes the ambient lights to flash if you have an incoming call, to alert you there is something wrong with the car such as a service item that's needs immediate attention, and they also flash red on the door, when that door is open, to alert traffic or anyone approaching your vehicle

Does anyone know if the light above the wireless charging pad can be turned off, either by settings or coding?
