Nice find! As suspected, standalone Active Cruise Control 5DF appears to be absent from at least this G20 model for 2021. I only see the ZDA/ZDY combo package which gets you Active Cruise Control with Traffic Jam Assist.

Seems odd to have that limitation, why do you think that's occurring?

I think, its to make it a bit easy and simplify the builds. Because it caused a bit of confusion on MY19s. As some folks thought that the vehicle had the Driver Assist Pro pkg, while it only had Active Cruise Control, and the dealer's did a poor job explaining the differences between the two. So for MY20, BMW simply took off the stand-alone option, and is only offering it with the Driver Assist Pro Pkg.

Yes, agreed. The less P1 options, the easier to build packages that any dealer can stock. The losers in such cases are the bargain hunters like me! I noticed after MY19, 5DF was pretty much gone from everything but the G20... was one of the deciders between G20, G30 and G01 for me.

For anyone in Arizona who is grandfathered into driving in the car pool lane, as of early March it will end.
Those of us who are grandfathered (like me with my 530e) can continue to drive in the car pool lane but any new car will have to be a BEV. I was toying with the idea of upgrading to the supposed new 545e but now, that will not happen. I will be keeping my 530e for much longer. So if any of you are in Arizona, and grandfathered, keep this in mind. PS The alleged reason for the change is federal law that requires states to only allow usage of the HOV lanes if they are not too congested. So folks in other states may also be impacted. |

I am extremely interested in getting more information and ordering this car. Does anyone know the best way about doing this? Should I go to my local BMW dealership or maybe a bigger city (Atlanta) to get the best pricing?

Contact you CA (if you have one) at your local BMW Center. If you don't have one, call them and ask them "Which CA knows most about the PHEVs" and get in touch with that CA so you get the correct info, and place your order should you decide to move forward.

Worse yet they froze the approved EPA list so some 2020 models are not going to be eligible. https://azdot.gov/motor-vehicles/veh...-plate-program I too was anxiously awaiting the ability to move the plate from a 2015 i3 REX to X5 45e. |

Canadian ordering guide for MY21 eDrive vehicles has been released as well and covers the 330e (RWD + xDrive), X3 30e and X5 45e. Original SOP was slated to happen from March to June but who knows now with COVID-19.

The 330e finally appeared in the BMW USA site.
It's official now. I can build one to my liking and see the total MSRP price. But does anyone here know if BMW will actually build my order? I heard the factory is closed. |

Yes they will build it. It might take a month to month and a half extra in build time, due to the Human Malware stuff going arounnd the world. But thats totally understandable.
