Dent/bend above rear wheel

Hi,

I’ve just noticed a dent/bend in the bodywork above my rear wheel on the left-hand side. This must’ve been done sometime after I cleaned it last week as I’m sure I would’ve noticed it.

Anyway, for now I’m thinking it may just pop straight out - there doesn’t appear to be any damage to the paintwork itself.

My question is, how easy is it to get behind that panel? Presumably the easiest access would be behind the rear wheel arch liner. Is that easy to get into?

Really easy to get there, there is a plastic cover that you can easily remove. Of course if you remove the wheel is much easier

Good to know - thanks - I'll remove the wheel at some point and give it a go.

Is it just bolts or some horrible clips...?

Your baby will be fine, but if I were you, I would take it to a PDR (Painless Dent Removal) expert to avoid the paint to crack or a bad finish.

+1 to that. I'd take it to a PDR guy too. It might pop right back easily but there's a slight chance the paint can crack. Then you have bigger issues. Shouldn't cost much to remove the dent too.
