[420DX Coupe]

Hi All,

i found on my new G26 Gran Coupe (italian market) that the lights covers under the hood are missing.
I read something similar for the 3 Series.
Did this happen to others?

In attachment the detail of the missing covers (in case I'll buy by myself from somewhere), are the plastic ones on the corner on the headlights (with the hole for heatsink)

Happened to the 3ers as well. I know you can buy the covers and a couple of the clips for less than $100 USD. I’ve considered it just to clean up the engine bay

Hi, thanks for your answer, in the meanwhile I contacted a different BMW dealer and he said that these two covers should be there. Reasons why a lot of cars have them missing are two (for Europe):

1. Late mounting of headlights after the car is ready due to covid or ukraine war.
2. Missing panels in factory... (shame)

anyway he told me the cost is 25€ + vat each and i can get them in a couple of days...
I'll wait my dealer, and if he refuses to solve, I'll buy them by myself.

Shouldn’t warranty cover this if they were omitted from the build?

Nope, at the end i verified all G26s 2023 miss these parts.
