Anybody ever see those shitty Ikons design for people with the halogen or Pre LCI F cars? This reminds me of the same thing or the people who try to turn they’re base lights to laser

They look so janky.

They make most of the cheap ebay stuff look sensible now.

I'm actually surprised they didnt cram in there some fake swarowski fake crystal and gold accents.

Guy, looking at these "new" BMWs is unbearable.

Pretending like this is the future and wow these designs are so bold and out there is insanity.

You can design traditionally good looking cars with ties to the past without completely butchering the brand - looks at Aston.

BMW went downhill after they cut Albert.

What a shame.

By what objective measure BMW went downhill?

Sales went up. Reliability went up. Critical acclaim went up.
Based on all this, I'm so glad people with views like yours don't make decisions for BMW.

Financially? Do you want real world figures of how they went downhill quantified in dollars because of their design architecture?

That doesn't exist and the company remains somewhat profitable - looks at China.

That doesn't mean that the majority of their fanbase are split on if they'd buy another BMW with the direction they're currently on.

I will say this online and I have said this in person many times, they stopped designing cars that car people like in 2004.

Who is everybody here? I drive a G series but I absolutely disagree with you on F30 being bad, let alone worse. The F80 M3 which is based on the F30 is one of my favorite design to date. In fact I hated the G20 pre lci.

Design is subjective and you need to respect people’s opinion. Don’t be hurt if you drive a newer BMW and someone doesn’t agree with your design choice. I own a G01 and G20 and I would still say BMW designed better cars in the past.

People who chase the newest things to remain relevant is absurd but do what makes you happy, that's of course just my personal opinion.

Man could be right, BMW could be on the up and up by catering to China.

IDK how BMW being a profitable business helps me personally at all, personally IDGAF lol

I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 F3X's for the last 12 years and am currently thoroughly enjoying my G2X. F3X was exciting and fresh when first launched no different than the G2X is now.

BMW's job is to please and retain customers. Can't think of another luxury brand that does it any better.
