2022/2023 rft

Ordering my first bmw, which will be a 340i
I've done a lot of readings, and I think the consensus has been to ditch RFTs in the past.

However, I saw this video , and it seems like RFT tech have improved significantly recently.

Can I expect RFTs to be on par with normal tires in 2023?

Dealership doesn't charge extra for going non-RFT.
Please keep in mind the road is honestly not very good in Ontario.

Not sure about the 340, but I tried to order mine w/ non-RFT and it was not an option, although they were available in the builder the dealer had no access to them (I'm in US and my car is a G23 2023).

Now that being said, although I was really disappointed the Bridgestone Turanza RFT seem solid and very comfortable. I am still going to change them this week to the brand new Continentals EXTREMECONTACT SPORT 02, I'll post my review soon. And finally to answer your question In don't think and RFT can perform as well as normal tire, specially when compared to Summer Performance.
