330i tuning question

I was reading about various available tuning for 330i and found recommendation to install csf intercooler catted downpipe, modify brakes (don't know how) and don't chip an engine. Does it make any sense?

That's the opposite of what you should do. Tune engine first. That's all I did. Intercooler not needed unless tracking. Downpipe helps a little but not needed. Modify brakes? No need.

I'm scared if it's really safe.

A tune or piggy back is much safer than throwing on a bunch of bolt-ons and having the ECU trying to calibrate everything on the fly because of messed up A/F ratios and all that Jazz.

There are risks to anything, if it is worth it to you then go for it.

Tuning question

What do you all recommend tune wise for the highest increase in horsepower and torque.
