Sounds like a horrible time for anyone to get a new BMW... 5-8% is nothing.

I'll just interject here, I test drove a $63,220 M340. I was quoted at $2500 down and $695 a month, 10,000 miles a year for thirty six months. Funny, I think they just wanted me out the door because I e-mailed them a bunch of times.

2021 custom builds are now available at all dealers. They were released just this week.
You should target 8-9% off before incentives and a base money factor |

I've shared this a couple of times but will do so again-
If anyone in the MN and/or Iowa area is looking for a dealership who will offer 8+ % off a custom build, PM for details. I was able to ultimately receive a little under 10% + base MF on my order in the winter of '19. Original offer was 8.5% but they offered more due to how long it took the vehicle to arrive (partly due to Covid and partly due to needing the allocation at that time). They also gave me the best offer on my previous F30. The other dealerships in MN weren't even willing to negotiate at all, and that was well before we had a pandemic on our hands. Just thought I'd share

The MF and residual for the my21 isn’t out yet. I would recommend to be be on the look out for that information when it’s available so the dealer doesn’t catch you slipping. I’m sure the dealer will do right by you but it doesn’t hurt to dot your I’s and cross your T’s

Good deal, nice work! Do you have an allocation? Do you know if it’s a Mexico of Germany built car?

If you plan on ordering one the easiest way to tell if it’s a Germany or Mexico build is if dravit or T-blue (midnight blue) is available. For some reason the Mexico builds don’t offer those 2 colors. On the order sheet if you see 213A it’s Mexico, 213Z is Germany

No idea there is someone in the order/tracking thread who got a Germany build in dravit that’s currently at the port. There have been reports that the Germany plant is behind on over 14k cars. My educated guess would be once they catch up it would be available. I contacted bmw genius they couldn’t give a answer.

I am currently stationed in Germany and got an offer for a 2020 M340i Xdrive. MSRP is 67,375. The offer was 60,697 OTD. This price does include free shipping back to the states when I leave Germany in 4 years. I would estimate that at around $1,500 or so in value. Is this a good deal, or is there room to negotiate?
Prices are USD not Euro. This is a US Spec Car. |

OK, so to try to assess better, if you assume in the USA you could net $3000 in combined incentives ($1000 lease cash and $2000 corp/loyalty), you are getting a $3670 pre-incentive discount. Based on the MSRP you gave, that would be a 5.45% pre-incentive discount. If that was here in the US, I'd say that's not a great discount. I've been told, at the moment, you can get a custom allocation from a US dealer for 9% or 10% off before incentives. Again, I have no idea how overseas dealers discount, what bonuses they may or may not get, or even if this is a good comparison. But that's the best assessment I can make for you.
